Love lives - with the lion on the chest! With this motto, we presented the new away kit for the 2021/22 season with Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

The Werkself will play away from the BayArena in white jerseys with a pinstripe graphic of the so called "Bergisch Lion" on the front. The roaring face of the Leverkusen heraldic animal stands out in light grey against the white background with vertical, also light grey stripes. 

The collar, sleeve cuffs and contrasting inserts on the sides are designed in the club colours of black and red. The lettering "WERKS11" is placed on the outside of the neck. The 3D club logo on the heart side is in the traditional club colours. 

The club colours of Bayer 04 Leverkusen will also characterise the look of the players' names in the coming season. The lettering on the back of each Werkself professional has a two-tone design in black and red. 

Just like the identity of the Werkself, JAKO and Bayer 04 Leverkusen are committed to a sustainable future with the new away jersey. Like all Leverkusen jerseys to follow, the new kit is made of recycled polyester micro mesh. The sustainable material is also particularly breathable, lightweight and supports the Werkself players in bringing their full potential onto the pitch.
